@_@

For how long has LJ demanded non-LJers use a Capcha thingy when commenting? I've been making posts for [livejournal.com profile] bg_thomas, who is laid up in hospital poor man, and was just shocked to the core of my being when I tried to comment before logging back into my account.

I have wet socks again :( Maybe I need to get a pair of these:

WELLIES!! Honestly you lot!

I think the captcha thing has been there for a while for anon commenters. I think my eyes are getting worse, because I'm finding those damn things harder and harder to read! Or maybe I'm actually turning into a bot! That most be it!

Speaking of bots, nice picture! Though it could use a NSFW warning on it! :D

Warning applied. :)

With the captchas I make use of the 'gimme a new one' button until one pops up that I can read. Some of them are unintelligible.

Oh yes, the number if times I have to retry to get one I can read is definitely going up.

I do that too. Some are hopeless. Even so, even with easy ones, I have gotten them wrong sometimes.

HOT! And these men are Wellies? Is that like a group or something?

What is a "Capcha thingy?"

HOT PICTURE!!

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Love the icon.

Captcha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA) - the thing that makes sure you're not a spam bot.

Wellies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellies) - rubberised canvas boots worn by people who want to keep their feet dry. I honestly couldn't think of anything to do with the other components of the picture, other than insist they put on boxers. That door looks splintery.

[identity profile] kc-risenphoenix.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 02:08 pm (UTC)(link)
But think of getting to help take the splinters out!

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll lend you my tweezers :)

[identity profile] kc-risenphoenix.livejournal.com 2012-05-04 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
I hear suction works well...

[identity profile] jessie-lansdel.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 02:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Bloody Captchas are a pain in the erm...bum. ;) I either can't see them properly or I copy them correctly and they STILL insist it's wrong. Grrr! Nice picture. ;)

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I can put up with Captchas if it means not getting my account hacked. >:(

But yes, nice piccie.

[identity profile] britalone.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Whoa!!! I wasn't expecting these hunky guys!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know if you noticed, but there's a rugby ball by the door. If I knew which team they played for I'd be happy to go and give them a cheer.

[identity profile] britalone.livejournal.com 2012-05-04 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
So there is!! I hadn't noticed!! ;o)

[identity profile] sandra-lindsey.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I do love a man in wellies - shows he's got a practical side & doesn't mind looking faintly ridiculous :-)

[identity profile] eglantine-br.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yes. Those men are appealing because-- practical. I need several around my house to... fix things.

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Absolutely! Wellies set off a good pair of lallies too.

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Polari? Lallies=legs. :) I've spent far too much time listening to Hugh Paddick and Kenneth Williams.

[identity profile] anteros-lmc.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Let me guess... Stade Francais? The rugby ball hiding behind the barn door is a dead give away ;)

PS. That chap on the left has unfeasible large thighs.

[identity profile] elin-gregory.livejournal.com 2012-05-03 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
He does! I can't imagine how he gets his knickers on unless he wears bloomers with drawstrings.

*sigh* I so want to photoshop that now.

[identity profile] anteros-lmc.livejournal.com 2012-05-04 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Now there's a mental picture! In every sense of the word.... XD
