Ahh, poor Muttley getting kicked out for Penelope Pitstop. Yes, I remember the original and how long it took to be able to recognise all the characters - and even longer to start worrying about why that race was never ending.
I dunno, Ben. Would you want to be trying to make that oh so important conversational foreplay in the front seat with Muttley making his sotto voce commentary in the back? I reckon it would be a definite mood killer.
huh? what was this? a car commercial? i seem to recognize the music fro msomethign but for the rest? oh and i loved yoru a to z posts. and i've been to your cuntry and i wanna go back already. {hugs}
Hi, the video is a live action version of an old cartoon called Wacky Races, where every week a bunch of very strange cars and drivers used to race and the baddy - Dick Dastardly - and his sidekick - a chortling dog called Muttley. In this case a Peugeot driver manages to evade the wacky racers only to be stopped in his tracks by Penelope Pitstop.
I'm glad you enjoyed Wales. I think it is a bit special. Where else can you see genuine, if small, mountains, lush meadows and lovely beaches within a few miles of each other?
aha, thought as much. From a carton i'venever seen then. Good to know. Yes i enjoyed Wales. Don't forget the castles. I kep thinkign f your museum too. And the falconers. N wonder it's a big source for fantasy authors though. I seem to remember something about mount snowdon and king arthur (don't wory i'll look that-one up.)
