Little bit excited to hear that my pirate novel "On a Lee Shore" might be out in time for Christmas.

Not that pirates are particularly Christmassy.

:) Barti is my hero. In fact I may have a little bit stolen one of his acts of robbery on the high seas. At least if people complain that it's unrealistic I can direct them to Captain Johnson and say that it really happened!

Ah but realistically speaking they'd be robbing one blind and leaving tarry smear all over ones counterpane rather than popping a button or two and purring "Well hello!"

I suspended historical integrity for some bits of the book but when i get involved I can't imagine much beyond the unlovely reality.
