I've kept forgetting to do this, mostly because I didn't have a working camera and the camera on my phone is pants. But today I have new pictures so here is my little friend Wilf, who is growing so fast that it's a bit scary.

Photobucket

9 weeks and still a puppy.

Photobucket

Now he's more like a mini dog.

Photobucket

Helping to sweep the floor.

Photobucket

Awww, broom love.

Photobucket

What you can't see in this picture is that he's pulling the stuffing out of the chair.

Photobucket

Being good - temporarily.

Photobucket

One man and his dog. Himself adores the wee mite while being desperate for him to grow up enough not to chew everything in sight and require constant supervision. At the moment we split the time. He has Wilf during the day while I'm at work but if I'm at home I look after the pup while he whizzes out into the shed to cut dovetails or - I dunno - glue shit together. But on the whole we're happy to have him.

Photobucket

The cats are less enthusiastic. My black cat thinks he's an abomination and has made sure he knows this. He keeps his distance. The tabby one is a gentler soul and adores Sirius so she has cut him more slack but even so she needs quiet times.

Photobucket

He can't reach her on top of the fire - yet.

More later.

He is gorgeous.

If the stuffing wasn't meant to be pulled out why was it put in there? Intrepid Guard Dog (Rotweiller/Doberman) has a bit of a thing for stuffing and has regularly demolished any bed we've bought him* - there's nothing quite like that look of innocence they put on when you find them surrounded by heaps of fluffy not-so-white stuffing, is there?

The Pest (very small and delicate looking beagle) is fond of blankets and likes to burrow under them. IGD's blanket is particularly good because it has several Pest-sized holes that make burrowing even more fun - until he wants to stop playing that game and the blanket won't let go. This morning he had buried himself completely and there was just this rucked up blanket with a frantically wagging tail sticking out of it. I never have a camera to hand when I want one.

*We got a heavy duty everything proof cover that has stopped the destruction, but we did have to put a blanket on top of it because it made scary noises when he walked on it. The blanket doesn't contain acres of fluffy stuffing though.

He is - he's upside down having a dream that involves paddling.

I cannot believe how quickly he's grown. My favourite picture is the "what ho mother, what's the agenda for today's mischief?" as he walks through the door.

He is growing so fast and is adorable. He's so funny with his broom. The one with your husband makes him look quite small - a little black dot. He's got loads of personality.

Nope. He still looks as though he's wearing big furry slippers. Those monster feet ones, maybe. :) His Mum was enormous.

Helpful dog is helpful!

He's adorable. And you're right, he doesn't look much like a puppy any more!

He IS rather lovely. I'm hoping he'll turn out to be a sensible obedient pooch, though. Funny puppies are nice but a well behaved dog is a thing to be cherished.

Cripes!! He's grown a bit. He is a little beauty though. I was wondering if he'd grown into his feet yet as well. 😊
