Zombies and Pirates!

So excited for my daughter! She's got a call back for another audition at Alton Towers. If she gets in she'll spend a month being a zombie or a pirate! Personally I think she's better suited to the former going by the difficulty we have getting her out of bed if there's no party to go to.

Anyhow, while Jen is practicing lurching and drooling, I'm concentrating on my pirates and trying to write blurbs. Altogether now - *groan* Yes it's a horrible job and I have to do 2 - one of 100 to 150 words and one of 200 to 300 words - make sure I don't give away any secrets and try to make it sound exciting without making ridiculous claims.

Do all authors write their own blurbs? Because, if so, shame on some of them.

NO! Well I will have to do that when my pirate book comes out, just for the heck of it.

If Jen gets this job she will be working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week for a month! I've told her to get into training.

Goodness! How many auditions does one need to go through to become a zombie?! What a great thing to have on your cv though! Apropos of nothing, I have a friend who is currently touring with a hibernating zoo.
