Today my visitor is suemont talking about her latest novel, Hewhay Hall, which is horror with a het love story!!! Oh yes, I'm an equal opportunity torturer *pokes with really soft cushions*

I'm close to the end of my annual accounts, but not close enough for my story for the UK Meet anthology. I'm still not happy with it and still only half done. Each time I show it to someone I dig myself a deeper hole so I'm thinking that possibly it was a bad idea to start with. At least only one person has said "If you're worried about being too samey you ought to have them split up and go off with girls. Nobody else would be doing that!"

On the other hand, as I'm writing I can feel Kit and Griffin from On A Lee Shore and Gwion and Cynfal from half finished A Fierce Reaping bitching mightily about being abandoned. Does anyone else get that? Such strident bloody character voices hammering away in ones head that one can barely think?

Oh goodness yes yes yes! Ned, Will, Ellis, there all hammering away in my bonce while I hammer away at the key board finishing a story. There they sit whispering, pointing and saying nasty things about me. *sob* Aw, boys, gimme a break. :)

*whimpers* I dunno. I want to do it but - it's less stressful not to and I need stress at the moment like I need a leak in the kitchen roof or a slow puncture or a stroppy husband or an unemployed and also stroppy daughter or a discarded mouse living in the sofa, all of which I have.

Sometimes I think being able to write smut in a fun and convincing manner might relieve my feelings a bit. At least I'd have something to laugh at.
