Sue Roebuck has just challenged me to get On A Lee Shore finished by next week.

I'm mentioning it here so those that care can mock me if i don't do it! :D

As of now:



Another 10 to 15 K should do it.

I've done just under 700 words and I'm am squaring up to the cat with my rubber rapier practicing duelling moves! She doesn't care and keeps patting the end of it.

“Sounds like your molly-boy’s balls just dropped, Griffin. Let him do it, Wigram. If the ship founders we’ll take another.”
“She’s a good ship,” Kit protested, “unless the lubbers who were sailing her holed her when she ran aground.”
“Well!” Wigram shook out his cuffs, and Kit saw the dark stains on the lace. “Fo’c’sle Fancy to Captain’s cabin in just a few short months. Promotion’s easier when you only have to fuck one man.”
“You’d know, Admiral Wigram.” Kit showed his teeth, hoping the snarl might be taken for a grin. “Bet you never thought you’d hear yourself called that!”
