Yesterday I had one of those accidents that means one gets absolutely no sympathy at all. I was unloading a shopping trolley in Iceland and half turned and bent to pick up a multipack of Wotsits *facepalm* and put my back out! Wotsits! If it had been a frozen chicken or a bottle of Famous Grouse it would be much less undignified.

So today I'm creeping around like an Igor with no socks on because I can't reach to put them on. After an adventure with the fridge I've given up on my normal Saturday activities of housework and am going to write! for definite! Later today I will post a snippet!

Also a great big happy birthday to clarelondon! She is hosting a free fiction day on her blo with lots of fabulous links to free fiction all over the web! There's a bit from me too, a prequel to the bit I did last year. Happy birthday, Clare. *hugs* I hope you have a fabulous day.

good heavens, girl-- get one of those able-bodied, ungrateful nearest-and-dearest in your house to put socks on your feet for you! Never mind undignified-- I'll bet you weren't going to eat those groceries all yourself. WHINE!! Demand loving attention! Make them go to the shop next time!
