Just - baffled!

Weirdest theft ever today from the museum where I work. We have an open display of a WW2 air raid shelter with a very life-like mannequin seated in the corner of it. Today someone stole his moustache! And relocated his "do not touch" sign to his crotch.

If you see some kid walking round tonight with a luxuriant handlebar tash under his thieving snoot give him a smack for me!

It'll be a pleasure.......... After I've had a bloody good laugh. Maybe they should wire said mannequin to an air raid siren. That'd startle the beejeeburs out of the thieving little gits!!! Lol.

Funny you should say that! We have this big green button labelled "Push" and if you do you get an entire bombing raid. People come up from the cellar a little wide eyed.

I think it's funny too but the curator is NOT going to be pleased.

I'm not laughing....really I'm not....

Maybe it was the pirates from your last exhibition wot dun it?

XD you have to laugh. Like the time we had a 16th century house door, complete with fittings on display and someone ripped the metal handle right off the door 'because it wouldn't open'. He thought it was the entrance to a room despite being clearly labelled as an exhibit. They are out there, walking around, and it's very hard to tell.

Wow! That's really quite special.

They are out there, walking around, and it's very hard to tell.
Be afraid...be very afraid...

If one was going to steal a tache this is a good one - huge and twirlable.

brilliant. Glad to see youthful inventiveness is still thriving. Hope he (she) gets a good laugh before being smacked....

Oh i hope so. it's certainly given me a giggle though today i have to tell the curator. I hope she laughs too.

Oh, I say! That's not cricket. Maybe it was some unfortunate boy still at the peach-fuzz stage who got a little impatient :)
