Fan fiction?

From now on, if anyone gives you a hard time for writing fan fiction just point them in the direction of this BBC2 trailer.

I think it's rather gorgeous, especially for the inclusion of 2 same sex couples, but found some of the lines in the poem familiar while not recognising the whole, if you know what I mean. Today I remembered to Google a bit of it and it jolly well should have been familiar. There are bits of Keats, Longfellow, Walter Savage Landor, Shelley Tennyson and Arthur O'Shaughnessy with a couple of filler phrases from the compiler poet Alison Chisolm. Apparently the style of poem, which Chisolm invented, as called a 'cento'.

hey, 've seen that one. thanks for clearign it up. I wasn't sure what program it was for. Speakign of which, is thee a site outside te uk where yo ucan rewatch programmes? there was some simultaneous stuff and I tried to look it up on this youtube channel they refer to fro miplayer but i got completely lost there.

Thanks for solving ref that peom, which I kept recognising bits of. Can't hack BC in a blonde wig but love the Monarch butterfly and just the general all roundness of it all. Any idea who's reading it? I have Peter Capaldi in mind but not sure that's right.

I don't think there is. iPlayer only works with a British IP address and all the proxy sites I've heard of are pay to view. I think it's a pity. We've already paid for the programmes with our national TV licence fees so I think we should e allowing non-UK residents to watch them just out of goodwill.
