You should definitely put it all back up again. It's the only way to get them used to the fact that it's your personal writing space first, and anything else only when you don't need it :) I've certainly felt an awful lot better about the room since I marked it with steam-punk & unicorns.
Hee! He's excellent :) You are really good at this drawing lark. He reminds me a bit of a story that Mirien wrote for me with Celeborn on a motorcycle, in the days when I was writing LotR fic.
