There was snow on the hill tops this morning and a very nasty bite in the air. Oy weather! 1st of November. You're not supposed to be doing that yet!

I had a nice surprise when I got home - 2 author copies of Halloween Heat M/M. I haven't had enough paper books not to be a bit excited about it.

I don't think Nanowrimo is going to happen for a bit. I'm doing edits for On A Lee Shore - using bonsai clippers rather than a chainsaw to reduce the length to 110k but they also want some extra bits - mostly bonkage. Because I don't think I can manage erotic I'm going to go for quirky. Comedy smut anyone?

IMHO comedy smut is much more difficult than the hotness sort, but I'm Ms. Sex Scenes Are Easy, Narrative Is Hard over here.

Absolutely. I love a bit of quirky 'bonkage' and you're good at it (writing it that is) as in "A Few Days Away". 😉 with the mum bursting through the door. Lovely stuff.
