The rules are simple - sign up on the website then on the following Sunday post six sentences, no more no less because it will be checked, to your blog. Plenty of other people do it too so you can read theirs and they can read yours.

Today we're back with Cynfal and his 'sheep'.

Cynon hailed them with a cheery grin. “I said I’d find you something to ride,” he said as soon as Cynfal was close enough to hear. “I’m assured it’s a horse but you might have to dig down through the winter coat to find it.”
Cynfal accepted the halter rope and tried not to smile as the little white beast nuzzled his fingers. “If I ride with my knees drawn up ...?”
"Or crosslegged?" Aeddan suggested.

Okay that's enough of that but oooooh I so want one of these:

Oh I love my countries eccentricity. Fab. I want one as well. Ooh, I love your six sentences too. That has to be the scene in your drawing. Lol.

I totally agree with that guy in the video who, when asked if it's art, says that he thinks it's as good as it gets. Such FUN!

I'm glad you like the snippet. The pony is Alarch - Swan - and a personality in the story in his own right. He's based on a Welsh Mountain pony stallion owned by a friend that we once clocked galloping at 28.5 mph with a ten stone man on his back. He looked like a polar bear during the winter. :)

I used to have a welsh mountain pony, he was grey, too (pure white grey if you get me) but i don't think I've got any pictures of him in his winter coat! wah! I do have one of my last horse, who was an ex-racehorse and had never been kept out in hislife, and everyone said "oh he'll die of cold" but he didn't - he just grew a huge thick furry coat same as all the other horses and ponies he was out with. I will dig that out and scan it in.

There should be bouncy versions of all major British tourist venues. Windsor Castle, the Giant's Causeway. History, exercise and big smiles all in one inflatable package! XD
