So now I can go back to my pirates! and all the other stories. And see about trying to find a home for my Greek lads since the first publisher said "LOL, no."

But just to say bye bye for now from Cynfal here's a little snippet:

They took off, not quite at a run but not wasting time either. Cynfal and Gwion had already cleared their little room up, just leaving packs neatly tied and their harness for collection but Cynfal was glad to go back there and drew Gwion to him for a moment. He stepped into Cynfal's arms with a sigh and put his arms around his waist. Cynfal leaned his head against Gwion's. They stood quite still for a long moment. Cynfal enjoying the lithe warmth of his - what? Responsibility? Bed mate? He didn't think they could call themselves lovers, not while he knew how much of Gwion's soul still ached for Llif and his own still demanded freedom.
"If I die," Gwion's voice seemed untroubled by the prospect, "All I have is yours. The bothy at Din Eidin too. Make good use of it. There are - I don't know - horses and a few cattle to my name as well. Cynon knows. It should give you a good start when you wish to marry again."
Cynfal was lost for words but his arms tightened around Gwion until he thought of something to say. "If I die," he said, "you can have back everything I borrowed and my sword. I don't think there's anything else."
"Your cloak," Gwion said. "I'll take it as a remembrance of you and that there was a good woman who loved you and that you loved her. That would be a good thing to remember." He gave Cynfal a squeeze then stepped back smiling his small tense smile before going to retrieve his pack and saddle.
That he had been loved by a good woman was something Cynfal tended to forget, the guilt associated with the idea was uncomfortable, so he said nothing but just put his hand on Gwion's back as he stooped, ran his hand down his spine and gave his arse a gentle smack. "I'll take the bedding," he said and grabbed the armful of blankets.

:D I'm glad you like it. It is a quieter moment.

Yes, poor pirates. They got abandoned mid-crisis. But at the moment I'm lusting after this (http://www.maritimesales.com/PRL10.htm). Fancy a party? Bring your own Jack Sparrow lookalike.

That's just fantastic. Thank you! I love the way all three have curly hair! There are some super photos in that series. I particularly like this one. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/gallery/2011/nov/29/photography-taylor-wessing-portrait-prize?picture=382524008)

I've taken the day off writing today because now I have to get to grips with how to kill the poor lads off. That's going to take a lot of planning to stop it being either macabre or boring.

The ship is pretty awful as a facsimile of an 18th century ship but looks like a grand place for a party!
