Nope but they are well on their way to the kind of climax that involves being fully dressed and gunfire :D I feel much more capable to provide one of those than the other sort.
For myself, the way I look at it is that I have 3 to 4 months where I can preen myself on my bravery and write as much as possible before I have to deal with the result.
I imagine you will sail through, but the best advice I can offer is to now try and forget that you sent it off at all - worrying isn't going to help :)
Thanks for the advice. I'm taking it to heart. I've got pirates to finish, poor boys, who have been remarkably patient for such free spirits and also have been given a nice reading list by a friendly romano-celt expert in preparation for Nanowrimo. I have MASSES to do. :D
Worry does help! Trust! It is okay! Know that just what is supposed to happen will happen.
Know that the greatest and most famous authors in the world and throughout time have recieved rejection letters. Who hasn't been rejected? But we have ALL also been embraced.
I will never forget that sale! I was so happy and so stunned.
There have been rejections since then, and there have been editors that held positions open for me in an anthology.
A man who changed my life once told me to search for THE thing that made my heart sing. That when I had completed it, I was stunned that I have even done it. That when I was doing that, I was "channeling" what I was "supposed" to do.
I knew what that was. It was writing. So I wrote!
Is that how writing makes you feel? If so, then write write write write! LOVE writing, even the parts that aren't fun, like the re-writes and the re-r-ewrites and the editing and the re-editing. It is all a part of it. LOVE IT!
Have faith in yourself. Universal Energy flows where attention goes. You believe you will sell stories and you will.
I had so much fun writing it that it has paid for itself already. But it would be nice if a few more people could read it other than my betas and a couple of friends.
*hugs* thanks for the best wishes. Now, what are you working on? I hope it's fun.

At the moment, I'm working on an Elizabethan set fantasy. It's going well, but quite slowly. Def. lots of fun, though :D
